Job Summary
Audi/VW Technician at Audi Northlake. Responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing repair, service, and maintenance work. Examines customer vehicles, identifies repairs, estimates costs, performs repairs and maintenance, documents services, follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines, requests parts, maintains high CSI, ensures safety and compliance, uses timekeeping, participates in required training, and upholds core values including teamwork, integrity, and commitment to customer service. May work with tools and test equipment in a dealership service area; shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires a valid driver’s license, manufacturer training/ASE readiness, and state inspection/emissions licenses; 5+ years of experience indicated; ASE certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer
- State inspection/emissions license
- Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests
- Completed manufacturer training to perform: warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to use dealership service guidelines
- Timekeeping and attendance requirements
- Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system
