Job Summary
Teaching Assistant to support an Honors Program course for first-year Honors students. Work closely with a professor to facilitate class discussions, attend class, hold office hours, and assist Honors staff at the Honors Research Conference on April 26. May occasionally facilitate off-campus site tours or field experiences related to the course. Ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and research. This is a part-time role with five hours per week, eligible for Federal Work Study where applicable. Salary is $18.40 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a student in good standing in the AU Honors Program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interactions with students, faculty, and staff.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
