Job Summary
The role of Area Sales Manager involves the active acquisition of new customers and the support of existing accounts within an international region for a leading container logistics provider. Responsibilities include developing sales concepts and pitch strategies, working closely with central sales, marketing and product teams, and monitoring market and competitors. Candidates should have completed logistics training or equivalent experience, strong communication and customer service skills, initiative in work style, and fluency in German and English.
Required Qualifications
- Completed logistics training or equivalent multi-year professional experience in logistics
- Strong communication skills with a pronounced customer and service orientation
- High level of initiative combined with an independent, goal-oriented way of working
- Team spirit and sales skills with a focus on business development
- Fluent in German (min. C1) and advanced English (min. B1); French knowledge is an advantage
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of intermodal transport
- Knowledge of logistics processes
