Attributes Convergence Lead Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and maintain the Attributes Convergence Plan, including gateways, timing, criteria, and report-out structure. Communicate gaps, risks, and recovery plans with clear engineering justification while assessing engineering change proposals for attribute impact. Facilitate alignment between design engineering, CAE teams, vehicle attributes teams, architecture teams, VOC, benchmarking, and testing to ensure attribute compatibility and synergy. Own attribute risk registers and convergence dashboards, lead cross-functional war rooms when deviations occur, and present convergence status to program leadership reviews. Ensure full traceability from targets through design inputs, CAE results, and validation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors, Master's from accredited University
- Mechanical / Automotive / Specialized in Attributes Performance
- 8–12 years of automotive engineering experience
- Experience with Electric/ REEV vehicle program development from concept to SOP
- Strong working knowledge of CAE and CAD environments (CATIA)
- Ability to interpret simulation outputs and understand design changes without performing hands‐on analysis or modeling
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Ability to effectively track, manage, and execute project tasks within the JIRA environment
- Leadership ability in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements of all performance Attributes
- Strong communication and cross-functional leadership
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Structured reporting and executive communication
- Program management and decision-making
