Job Summary
Attractions Team Member A will operate ride controls and safety equipment, enforce safety rules, assist guests entering and exiting ride vehicles, inspect safety gear, react calmly in emergencies, and provide friendly guest service across varying ride areas. Responsibilities include daily safety paperwork, cleaning, observing for hazards, and conducting ride evaluations when required. Must meet age requirements, complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen, wear PPE, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrates Dollywood’s Lead with Love values, effective communication, problem solving, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards; basic computer skills and physical ability to perform duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing up to 200 ft for inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirements: 14+ for Grouper/Greeter roles at certain rides, 16+ for Moderate Thrill Ride Operators, 18+ for High Thrill Ride Operators; able to pass background check and drug screen; valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance for certain duties; basic computer skills; ability to operate vehicles and wear safety gear; physically able to lift up to 50 lbs; able to work outdoors in varying weather; able to read and follow safety standards and instructions.
