Job Summary
Attractions Team Member A at Dollywood Park is responsible for the safe, friendly operation of assigned attractions, including operating ride controls, enforcing safety rules, assisting guests, managing line flow, and performing safety inspections and paperwork. The role requires strong guest-service skills, the ability to respond calmly to emergencies, physical stamina for outdoor work, flexibility with varying hours, and adherence to Dollywood’s culture and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirements (14+ for Grouper/Greeter, 16+ for Ride Operators on Moderate Thrill, 18+ for High Thrill)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance (where applicable)
- Ability to operate ride controls and wear PPE
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Ability to climb/inspect rides and safety equipment
- Ability to follow safety standards and attendance/security guidelines
