Job Summary
Conduct daily safety inspections, operate amusement rides, and load/unload guests while verifying compliance with height restrictions and accessibility guidelines. Monitor attraction systems, inspect restraints, and provide clear safety instructions to ensure guest and team member safety. Manage queues, crowd flow, and guest throughput to maintain efficient operations, while identifying and reporting potential hazards. Respond promptly to ride interruptions, operational issues, and emergency situations, including assisting with evacuations. Process ticket sales and attraction passes, greet visitors, and deliver exceptional guest service using themed interactions. Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, adhering to all local laws and company policies. Obtain and maintain required operating certifications through on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment and adapting to new concepts and innovations
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language
- Ability to work at heights of up to 140 feet and in various indoor and outdoor environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve guest situations professionally and effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest-service skills
- Ability to remain alert, focused, and safety-conscious while monitoring ride operations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and comply with company grooming and costume standards
- Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and work schedules
- Ability to perform physical job duties including standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions for extended periods
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Non-Gaming Work Card in accordance with state and local regulations
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, and extreme cold
- Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
