Job Summary
Attorney-level associate for Toxic Tort team in California with 2+ years civil litigation experience; hands-on litigation responsibilities include pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, witness preparation, court filings and e-filings, trial preparation, and general litigation support. Prior toxic tort experience is a plus but not required. Hybrid work arrangement (2 days in office, 3 days remote) across California offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek. Requires active California bar admission and JD from ABA-accredited law school. Competitive salary in the mid-to-upper range with comprehensive benefits and mentorship/professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Active California bar admission
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Minimum of 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Toxic tort experience a plus
- Deposition experience strongly preferred
- Motion practice required or strongly preferred
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple matters efficiently
