Job Summary
Own your docket of First-Party Property and General Liability defense files from intake through resolution, whether by trial, mediation, or settlement. Build case theories, draft pleadings and motions, and deliver legal research that drives client decision-making. Stand up in the room to take and defend depositions, appear at hearings and mediations, and prepare witnesses and experts for trial. Be the trusted advisor by keeping clients informed with timely assessments of liability and exposure, then close the file by driving negotiations and alternative dispute resolution to secure strong outcomes. This role requires an active Texas Bar license and at least three years of civil litigation experience, with hybrid or remote work available within Louisiana.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing
- At least 3 years of civil litigation experience
