Job Summary
Investigate and confirm facts for advanced automobile accidents, determining coverage, liability, damages, and negotiating claims within your authority. Handle investigations regarding all aspects of auto claims with discretion and independence, while recognizing potential subrogation or fraud. Review and evaluate basic to moderate injury claims, identify vehicle body parts, and assess property damage. Apply advanced understanding of insurance policies and organizational relationships to meet customer needs using appropriate service skills. Manage complex claims for Georgia and/or Florida in a decision-driven environment, requiring experience at the Adjuster II level or equivalent specialty rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Attorney‐Represented
- Advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
- Experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience handling advanced automobile accidents
- Experience determining coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusting and negotiating claims within limit of authority
- Experience with claims involving injuries (if handled), including reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating basic to moderate injury claims
- Ability to recognize and identify body parts of a vehicle and understand other potential property damage
- Experience identifying customer needs and working to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
- Experience determining subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
