Job Summary
Litigation Associate Attorney to manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from discovery through resolution; draft pleadings and motions, conduct depositions and settlement negotiations with insurance carriers and defense counsel, prepare cases for trial with witness preparation and exhibit organization, appear in court for hearings and mediations, perform legal research to support motion practice and case strategy, collaborate with attorneys and staff, and maintain proactive client communications throughout the litigation process.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Georgia law license, in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
- Strong working knowledge of Georgia civil procedure and personal injury law
- Demonstrated ability to handle litigation matters independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using case management software preferred
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Competitive mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
