Job Summary

Experienced municipal attorney sought for transactional and advisory municipal law work in Citrus Heights, CA. Focus on land use, zoning, CEQA/NEPA compliance, development agreements, redevelopment matters, and day-to-day governance counseling for public entities. Responsibilities include advising cities and public agencies, serving as legal advisor to planning commissions and public boards, drafting and negotiating development agreements and related documents, advising on compliance with Brown Act, PRA, and Political Reform Act, and attending public meetings/hearings. Requires 5+ years municipal law experience, representation of California public agencies, CA Bar license, and a track record in advisory and transactional work. Remote flexibility after onboarding with an 1,800 annual billable hours target; must reside locally near Citrus Heights, CA.
