Job Summary

Attorney (LATAM) supports Valvoline’s legal and compliance activities in LATAM (primarily in Mexico), assisting in labor law compliance, drafting and reviewing agreements with distributors and resellers, managing corporate governance and regulatory obligations, monitoring legislation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams (Legal, Tax, Insurance, Accounting, Treasury). Requires a law degree, 5+ years of related experience, strong drafting/negotiation abilities, knowledge of FCPA/Trade and antitrust laws, and bilingual Spanish/English communication.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in law, paralegal studies, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in paralegal or legal assistant roles
  • Understanding of applicable law, guidelines, regulations, and legal processes in one or more specialized areas
  • Understanding of US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Trade Regulations, and antitrust & anti-competition laws
  • Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Spanish and English fluency
  • Intermediate MS Office experience
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
