Job Summary
Associate Attorney within a Labor & Employment practice supporting public education institutions and public agencies. The attorney will advise K-12 school districts and community college clients on operational legal matters affecting educational environments, work across Labor & Employment, Student Services, and Public Agency Governance teams, and assist with employment counseling, legal analysis, policy development, and operational guidance. Responsibilities include advising educational institutions on labor and employment issues, conducting legal research and preparing memoranda, drafting employment-related policies and documentation, counseling clients on employment and operational matters, collaborating across practice teams serving public entities, and providing strategic guidance to institutional clients.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Bar membership required
- 1–4 years of Labor & Employment experience required
- Experience representing employers, public entities, school districts, or educational organizations preferred
