Job Summary
Attorney - Global Brands & Product Technology at Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast joins the Global Brands & Product Technology Legal Team to advise on IP, licensing, technology, AI-related issues, privacy, regulatory compliance, and contract interpretation. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating IP, commercial, and technology agreements; advising on risks related to AI tools and data-enabled products; guiding product development, packaging, and advertising across TV, digital, and social platforms; and partnering with senior management to scope priorities and ensure compliant business solutions. Requires a J.D., active bar membership, 4-8 years of relevant experience, strong drafting/negotiation skills in IP and technology, and ability to translate AI and emerging technologies risks into actionable business guidance.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- active bar membership in good standing
- 4-8 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house environment
- strong drafting and negotiating experience in intellectual property, commercial, and technology-related agreements
- experience using AI-enabled tools and advising on AI and emerging technology issues (risk assessment and business communication)
- solid understanding of intellectual property law (copyright, trademark, rights of publicity) with knowledge of digital, technology, data and privacy issues
- patent licensing experience is a plus but not required
