Job Summary
Hands-on associate attorney role in a national litigation practice focused on General Liability and Product Liability defense in California. Responsibilities include active caseload management, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, witness preparation, court filings and e-filings, trial preparation, and litigation support, with product liability or liability-defense experience a plus. Offers a hybrid work schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote) from Irvine or Los Angeles offices, with potential remote flexibility. Requires active California bar admission and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school; 2+ years of litigation experience and strong research/writing skills are preferred. Target annual salary range of approximately $140,000 to $195,000+, plus benefits and 1,900 annual billable hours.
Required Qualifications
- Active California bar admission
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- General liability defense experience preferred
- Deposition experience strongly preferred
