Job Summary
Family law attorney position in San Diego. Manage family law cases from inception through resolution; prepare motions, briefs, and legal memoranda; conduct legal research; appear in court for hearings and trials (in person and remotely); maintain client and third-party communication; enter detailed client notes and billable time; collaborate with support staff to move cases efficiently; approximately 1,500 annual billable hours. Requires J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar license in good standing, with 4–12 years of family law experience including evidentiary hearing and trial experience. In-office role with compensation at mid-level to senior levels, plus annual bonus and 10% origination bonus, benefits including health insurance stipend, dental/vision, 401(k), holidays, and vacation. Location: San Diego, CA, United States; in-office work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Family law experience required
- Approximately 4–12 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated evidentiary hearing and trial experience
