Job Summary
Experienced attorney sought to support an elder law and estate planning practice in New York. Responsibilities include client consultations, developing and implementing estate planning strategies, drafting trusts and related documents, advising on asset protection, disability planning, and probate avoidance, handling estate administration and probate matters, assisting with Medicaid planning, and traveling between office locations while collaborating across departments. Candidate should maintain a client-centered, educational approach and commit to long-term relationships with individuals and families. Must hold a J.D., be licensed in New York, and have at least 3 years of relevant experience; position is in-office with travel between Huntington-area offices. Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active New York law license in good standing
- At least 3 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, estate administration, probate, Medicaid planning, or trust planning
