Job Summary
Research, write, edit, and update state-specific business organizations and corporate transactional resources in accordance with Client writing style. Responsibilities include creating practice notes, check-lists, and standard documents that explain the process of forming corporate entities under state law, with a focus on governance and mergers or acquisitions. Ideal candidates must hold a J.D. degree, be bar admitted in New York, Pennsylvania, or Massachusetts, and possess at least six years of experience as a corporate transactional attorney or in-house counsel, along with M&A experience.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Bar admitted in New York / Pennsylvania / Massachusetts
- At least six years’ experience working as a corporate transactional attorney in a law firm or as in-house counsel
- M&A and related transactional experience
