Job Summary
Independently manage a diverse caseload with direct client contact, drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, and appearing in state and federal courts. Provide strategic advice to clients on creditor rights issues and compliance considerations while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex matters and contributing to business development efforts. Practice areas include bankruptcy motion practice, adversary proceedings, foreclosure litigation, collections prosecution, and landlord-tenant representation. This Associate Attorney role within the Financial Services/Creditor Rights practice group offers early responsibility and mentorship from experienced practitioners representing regional and national financial institutions.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in South Carolina (federal admissions preferred)
- 2-4 years of experience in creditor rights, financial services litigation, or related areas
- Strong litigation, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and effectively
