Job Summary
Associate Attorney for construction defect and general liability litigation in Los Angeles. Handle matters from inception through resolution; draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related documents; conduct legal research and prepare case analyses; take and defend depositions; attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences; communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel; assist with litigation strategy, evaluations, and trial preparation. Requires 1–6 years of construction defect and/or general liability litigation experience, J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, and an active California Bar license in good standing. Insurance defense background and experience with depositions, motions, and case management are preferred. Base salary $110,000–$160,000 with bonus, and a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three in-office days.
