Job Summary
Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles seeking a seasoned attorney to manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, taking and defending depositions, conducting legal research, appearing in court for hearings and oral arguments, participating in mediations/arbitrations/settlements, managing large-scale discovery/e-discovery, working directly with clients on strategy/case management, collaborating with litigation teams, assisting with trial preparation, mentoring junior attorneys and litigation support personnel. Requires 5+ years of complex litigation experience, strong writing skills, and California Bar membership; experience in both state and federal courts preferred. Salary range $150,000–$220,000 plus bonuses; benefits include comprehensive health insurance, FSA, 401(k) with Safe Harbor, life/AD&D, long-term disability, bar dues/CLE reimbursement, paid time off, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- California Bar membership in good standing
- 5+ years of complex litigation experience
- Strong legal writing skills
- Experience handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters
- Experience in both state and federal courts preferred
- Significant deposition, motion practice, and court appearance experience
