Job Summary
Litigation Associate (Hybrid in Los Angeles) will manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, conduct of discovery and depositions, trial preparation, and client communications. Key responsibilities include developing litigation strategy, managing discovery and motion practice, defending depositions, participating in hearings and mediations, and coordinating with attorneys across offices. Requires JD, active CA Bar, and a minimum of 4 years in commercial litigation with strong deposition and trial-prep experience; preferred experience in contract disputes and business torts; strong writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills; and client-facing experience.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California State Bar admission
- Minimum 4 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong deposition experience
- Trial preparation experience preferred
- Experience handling contract disputes preferred
- Experience handling business tort matters preferred
- Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution
- Strong writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Client-facing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
