Job Summary
Seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in Labor & Employment matters. Responsibilities include providing initial analysis and developing case strategies, preparing and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, and explaining legal options to clients. The ideal candidate must be proficient in negotiation, research, and effective communication, with a strong sense of urgency toward problem-solving and achieving goals. A Juris Doctor degree and licensure in both New Jersey and New York are required, along with the ability to work independently and meet billable hours goals.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and organized
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with iManage and/or OneDrive
