Job Summary
Associate Attorney in Lexington, KY to support the insurance coverage team. Responsibilities include providing initial case analysis and strategy, preparing and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and attending hearings, explaining legal options and potential outcomes to clients, and building client relationships. Requires 3-5 years of experience, a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school, and ability to practice in Kentucky. Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Bar in good standing and able to practice in Kentucky
- 3-5 years of experience in handling coverage matters or litigation
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage billable hours
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook; knowledge of iManage and/or OneDrive is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and professional
