Job Summary
Provide litigation and trial support on insurance defense matters, managing all phases of appellate litigation including briefs, motions, and filings. Attend trials as appellate counsel when needed, conduct legal research to analyze complex issues, and assist with hearings, case strategy, and client guidance. Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case management while maintaining organized case files and documentation. Meet billable hour requirements. Must reside in Florida or Georgia with an active Florida Bar admission and five or more years of insurance-related litigation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Florida Bar admission.
- 5+ years of insurance-related litigation experience, including one or more of the following: Insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, First- and third-party insurance claims, Personal injury defense, Auto liability, Premises liability, Property damage, Products liability.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently.
- Must reside in FL or GA
