Job Summary
Provide commercial legal support in the region by drafting and reviewing contracts, supporting negotiations, and helping commercial teams close deals. Advise on local and regional matters, resolving complex legal, data regulatory, and business issues while collaborating with Corporate Legal Affairs to ensure alignment with company policies and objectives. Support the design and rollout of standard commercial contracting forms, product terms, and approval structures, and offer strategic legal advice on commercial requirements in product development. Contribute to process improvements, template updates, and governance reviews to ensure effective business support. Requires a Master of Laws degree and qualification to practice in England and Wales.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Laws degree
- Qualified to practice in England and Wales with 2026 SRA practicing certificate
- Commercial legal experience, 4+ years from the financial industry, in-house legal counsel, or UK law firm or equivalent experience
- Strong verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
- A good understanding of licensing models and how a Data & Analytics or Tech business works
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in English and languages relevant to the working market
