Job Summary
Load materials, set up equipment, and prepare job sites for attic insulation projects. Assist with installing insulation under supervision while learning proper techniques, tools, and safety practices. Maintain clean and organized job sites, handle materials safely, and follow procedures designed to meet quality and building standards. Work in attics and varying conditions using basic tools while adhering to safety requirements for confined spaces and heights. Complete the initial 3-minute mobile-friendly application to join our team serving communities across Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and Saskatchewan since 1997.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract
- Willingness to learn insulation techniques, tools, and safety requirements through on-the-job training
- Basic understanding of construction materials, tools, and installation methods, or the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to safely use hand tools and handle materials
- Awareness of job site safety practices, including PPE use, ladder safety, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines consistently
- Basic communication skills to work effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Comfortable using mobile devices for basic communication and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, insulation, or a related trade
