Job Summary
Provide direct patient care for the department of Psychiatry, including addiction treatment in the outpatient setting, consultations, and prescribing for patients in Queens Hospital EDs and Inpatient services. Lead the development of the newly launched Residency Training Program by assisting with curricular design and providing outstanding leadership and vision. Maintain a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System while serving a culturally diverse community in Eastern Queens.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Board certification in Addiction Psychiatry
- Current New York State License
- Medicaid number
- DEA number
