Job Summary
Part-time Attending Physician overseeing primary medical care for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), serving as the primary care provider with NP/PA support. Conduct patient rounds, diagnose and treat acute illnesses, manage chronic conditions, discuss treatment plans and prognosis with residents and families, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and specialists to deliver comprehensive care. Highlights include leadership in LTC, collaboration with NPs/PAs, and a focus on senior patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
