Attending Physician

Attending Physician providing primary-care services in long-term care facilities with a focus on family, geriatric, or internal medicine. Responsibilities include reviewing and signing MARs and facility orders, addressing labs within 24 hours, managing prescribed medications per facility policy, allocating time for paperwork and admin duties, collaborating with facility staff on care plans and QA/PI meetings, performing on-call triage as per protocol (availability 7 AM–7 PM on scheduled days), submitting documentation and billing records, maintaining HIPAA and CPT coding standards, and ensuring open communication with facility staff. Requires MD or DO licensure and at least 3 years in Long Term Care/Geriatric Care; AMDA certification is a plus. The position is expected to be based in facilities with no remote work indicated, and location specified as Greensboro, NC.
