Job Summary
Provide primary-care services in accordance with site-specific protocols for long term care facilities, focusing on family medicine/geriatric/internal medicine. Review MARs, sign facility orders, and address labs within specified timelines. Manage scheduled medications, allow adequate time per visit for paperwork, collaborate with facility care teams, attend care plan and QA/PI meetings, and fulfill OnCall triage duties between 7 AM and 7 PM on scheduled days. Maintain HIPAA compliance and CPT coding accuracy; ensure effective communication with facility staff and administration; meet with facility care coordinators before and after daily patient visits. Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth standards, regulatory guidelines, and patient confidentiality in EMR and communications. Qualifications include MD/DO license and 3 years in long-term/geriatric care; AMDA certification is a plus.
