Job Summary
Administer anesthetics to render patients insensitive to pain during surgical and medical procedures. Examine patients to determine surgical risk, anesthetic type, and sedation needs, then record administered amounts and patient conditions before, during, and after anesthesia. Provide consultative, resuscitative, and therapeutic services for patients in shock, respiratory insufficiency, and acute or chronic pain. Candidates must hold a M.D. or D.O. degree, ACGME-approved residency training, and board certification with a valid New York State License, DEA, and Medicaid number. Located at Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica, NY.
