Job Summary
Attendant Linen-Housekeeping duties include receiving clean linen, loading dirty linen into linen trucks, and distributing linen to floors and lockers; inspect linen, resolve discrepancies, and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Responsibilities cover completing the Laundry Control Log, distributing linen to floors, verifying invoices, coordinating pickup of soiled linen, and ensuring safe, sanitary operation in a fast-paced four-star hotel environment. Requires ability to lift 75 pounds, push/pull 325 pounds, communicate in English, and work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Safety and consistent attendance are essential; role entails interaction with guests and hotel staff while upholding The Venetian Resort policies.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
- Minimum 6 months experience as floor attendant or similar experience with a four star property
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
