Job Summary
Provide daily cleaning of guest rooms and ensure confidentiality and security of rooms. Respond to guest requests promptly; offer courteous service to hotel guests. Strip and remake beds with clean linens, dust furniture and fixtures, clean bathrooms and windows, vacuum carpets, and restock amenities. Maintain neatly organized linen cart and report maintenance issues. Ensure all collateral in rooms is present and lights are functioning; turn in liquor from checked-out rooms to housekeeping supervisor. Follow proper procedures for lost and found items and operate housekeeping equipment safely. Inform supervisor of early checkouts, refusals, or late service. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds; work a variety of hours including holidays and weekends in a 24/7 casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
- Able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
