Job Summary
Assist during busy periods by communicating needs to the Chef to ensure optimum service; notify management if products do not meet specifications; monitor appliance and food temperatures; check quantities prepared and portions served; ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish; serve food in proper portions; set up, clean, and break down work station; wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment; prepare ingredients for cooking (portion, chop, store); wash and peel fruits/vegetables; prepare and cook food. Follow safety, security, and company policies; report maintenance, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; welcome guests per standards; speak clearly and professionally; maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach goals; adhere to quality standards; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move/lift/carry/push/pull objects up to 25 pounds; perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.
