Job Summary
Responsibilities include assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring safety during client activities, maintaining compliance with healthcare policies, and reporting significant changes in the client's environment or behaviors. The position requires effective communication, teamwork, physical capability to perform various tasks, and the ability to monitor the client's environment for safety hazards. Candidates must demonstrate competency through training and possess the ability to work under minimal supervision while displaying patience and helpfulness.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a pleasant and cheerful demeanor
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people
- Ability to recognize differences in sounds, such as voices/noises
- Ability to exercise patience, tact, initiative, judgment, and confidentiality
- Ability to recognize changes in a client’s appearance, attitude, and condition
