Job Summary
As an Attendant/Caregiver, you will assist clients in daily living activities, maintain safety, and report significant changes to supervisors. The role requires a cheerful demeanor, ability to cooperate and support fellow staff, and the capability to carry out detailed instructions. Physical tasks include lifting and moving clients, along with monitoring environments for hazards. Compliance with healthcare policies and regulations is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Demonstrated competency in personal assistance services
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed oral and written instructions
- Complete required training requirements
- Ability to lift and move objects/people up to specified weights
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for required durations
- Recognize differences in sounds
- Exercise patience, tact, initiative, judgment, and confidentiality
- Work with minimal supervision
