Job Summary
Provide in-home activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating. Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises while using mechanical lifting devices as needed. Prepare meals, handle laundry, and perform housekeeping and organization tasks. Support consumers with community errands and medication reminders. Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more. Work flexible per diem schedules ranging from 10-20 hours weekly set by consumers. Granite State Independent Living, a statewide non-profit and New Hampshire's only Center for Independent Living, focuses on education, advocacy, and support for people with disabilities and underserved youth.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more
- Adequate car insurance (if applicable)
