Job Summary
Develop a service relationship with clients, families, and caregivers to support emotional and behavioral health needs. Provide cognitive-behavioral therapy, assess high-risk behavior, and teach coping and conflict resolution skills. Review diagnostic evaluations to implement individualized treatment plans and offer first-line crisis intervention and mediation. Coordinate referrals to community resources, consult with school personnel on educational settings, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Assist families in building skills for child development and behavior management while ensuring clients remain in appropriate educational environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3 years of mental health or related experience
- Associate's degree in social work, Human Services, or a related field
- 1 year of mental health or related experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Safe driving record
- Valid insurance
- Ability to take and pass a physical exam
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Clear background check results
