Job Summary
A.T. Still University seeks a Campus Safety Officer to monitor security activities, conduct patrols, respond to emergencies, and maintain records. Role requires flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lock and unlock doors according to procedures
- Conduct patrols at least twice per shift
- Report fire and safety hazards immediately
- Perform investigations related to security incidents
- Question strangers about legitimacy of their presence
- Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner
- Maintain records for lost and found items
- Ensure compliance with parking regulations
- Enter data accurately into the computer
- Check functionality of security equipment
- Maintain proper levels of fuel, oil, and coolant in the vehicle
