Job Summary
Lead Teacher and Instructional Coach for the ATPPS program at Harambee Elementary, responsible for coordinating PLCs, Title 1 services, coaching teachers in Language Arts and Math, running weekly PLCs, analyzing CFA and data to guide intervention time, building capacity in data analysis and instructional planning, and supporting AVID implementation and documentation across grades 5 and 6. Collaborates with administration, maintains Title 1 documentation, contributes to Advanced Academics and Talent Development programming, and participates in professional development to advance instructional practices and equity across the building.
Required Qualifications
- A MN Teaching License is required
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- Experience and knowledge of leading professional development
- Knowledge and understanding of ATPPS program, Performance Standards, and Teacher Growth, Development and Evaluation system (training will be provided)
- Experience and knowledge of leading professional development
- Commitment to equitable education of all students
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience leading professional development
- Experience with data-informed instructional decision making
- Knowledge of ATPPS/Q Comp program
- AVID implementation and documentation experience
- Experience with Title 1 documentation
- Commitment to equitable education
- Leadership experience in educational settings
