Job Summary
The Production Operator I assembles and packs standard parts in an Assemble-to-Order environment and operates a variety of production machines; may transport materials through the plant, disassemble/sort/repair/salvage items, and ensure quality and quantity of work. Responsibilities include labeling printers, record-keeping of product counts and scrap, maintaining a clean and safe work area, rotating to multiple jobs, cross-training in other areas, potentially completing shipping papers, and identifying improvement ideas for the work area; duties also involve supporting overall plant operations and performing other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 month of related experience and/or training
- Ability to flex to move to another work station and to all jobs on the Assemble-to-Order line
- Ability to work in a team and use own time efficiently
