Job Summary
Administer Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and related Atlassian products by designing configurations, workflows, and automations for agile and traditional teams. Configure Premium capabilities including Advanced Roadmaps, sandbox environments, and project archiving to support safe change testing. Establish governance standards, audit configurations, and consolidate projects into a maintainable enterprise environment while building JQL-based filters and dashboards for stakeholder visibility. Manage Atlassian integrations, evaluate Marketplace applications, and partner with distributed administrators to balance local flexibility with enterprise standards. Monitor application health, validate system changes, and support security and compliance initiatives to maintain operational excellence.

- Ability to design, configure, and maintain projects, workflows, screens, permissions, and automations for both agile and traditional teams
- Ability to configure and administer Jira Premium capabilities including Advanced Roadmaps, sandbox/release environments, and project archiving
- Ability to establish and maintain platform governance standards that promote consistency, scalability, and security
- Ability to audit existing configurations and consolidate projects, spaces, and applications into a maintainable enterprise environment
- Ability to build JQL-based filters, dashboards, and reports that give stakeholders visibility into project and platform health
- Ability to manage Atlassian integrations with enterprise systems while maintaining data integrity and traceability
- Ability to evaluate, implement, and administer approved Atlassian Marketplace applications
- Ability to partner with distributed Jira administrators to balance local flexibility with enterprise standards
- Ability to create documentation and training that help teams get the most out of Atlassian tools
- Ability to support administration of additional enterprise platforms including ERP, Salesforce, AI tools, and other approved business applications
- Ability to manage access, configuration, and usage standards for approved AI assistants and emerging technologies
- Ability to collaborate with teammates to develop cross-functional expertise and provide backup support across multiple business systems
- Ability to monitor application health, validate system changes, support security and compliance initiatives, and maintain documentation that enables long-term operational excellence
