Job Summary
Administer Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence in a cloud environment by creating projects, configuring workflows, and managing user access. Build and maintain native automation rules for ticket routing and notifications while fulfilling support requests to maintain SLA compliance. Serve as the first point of contact for end users, resolving configuration questions and escalating complex issues with clear documentation. Assist in onboarding new teams, maintaining knowledge base articles, and performing routine platform hygiene tasks like inactive user cleanup. Support testing and rollout of automation changes and configuration rollouts under senior guidance. Work remotely in Mexico within a global, multi-time zone organization.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on Jira and Confluence administration experience in a corporate environment
- Working knowledge of Jira Software project types, workflows, permission schemes, and issue configuration
- Experience configuring and supporting Jira Service Management (JSM) service desk projects
- Familiarity with Confluence space administration, page permissions, and content organization
- Experience with native Jira automation rules
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent requests and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps (ScriptRunner, Elements Connect, or similar)
- Familiarity with Atlassian Intelligence or Rovo
- Exposure to ITIL frameworks or service management best practices
- Experience working with Atlassian Cloud (vs. Data Center/Server only)
- Must be able to work across multiple time zones in a hybrid or remote work environment
- Candidates may be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check

- Atlassian certification (ACP-120 Jira Administration or equivalent)
