Job Summary

Conduct interviews, compile, and analyze data to document findings and develop professional relationships with client and project team personnel. Assess, identify risk, and advise on technology-related topics including cybersecurity, cloud assurance, project risk, IT general controls, AI governance, data privacy, and emerging technologies. Manage assignments with ownership of time and project management while leveraging analytics, AI, and automation to enable deeper and more efficient analysis of client technology risks. Gather, summarize, and examine data to create process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries aligned with frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field)
  • 1+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access
  • Experience with or understanding of: IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables, including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries
  • Commonly used internal control frameworks, including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, in particular the technology implications and requirements
  • Experience performing documentation of findings and summarizing recommendations

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions a plus
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar a plus
  • Exposure to and/or interest in: The latest trends and developments in data and technology, including high-growth topics of cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.
  • Analytics and technology enablement (automation, AI/ML etc.)
  • You enjoy gathering, summarizing, and examining data
  • You are motivated to learn and are interested in all things related to data and technology, including the latest trends and developments
  • You are passionate about contributing to client relationships and providing clients with exceptional experiences
  • You facilitate teamwork by contributing to team effort, sharing responsibility for team results, and exhibiting a positive attitude
  • You are eager to learn the client's business and industry which in turn helps you build out your business knowledge and skills
  • You have interest in working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
  • You are versed in leveraging AI to enhance personal productivity as well as internal audit and SOX activities, including planning, fieldwork and reporting
