Job Summary
Assist children and adults in the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme according to qualification, training, and experience. Supervise customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline. Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers, including the ability to interact with children and their parents. This role is part of Freedom Leisure's mission to improve lives through leisure, offering a supportive environment for those from diverse employment backgrounds. Additional training is provided to help you progress, though happiness in your work is the most important factor.
Required Qualifications
- Assist children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
- Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
- An ability to deal with children and their parents
- Enhanced DBS check

- Welsh Language skills
- Level 1 Swim Teaching qualification
