Job Summary
Athletics Trainer responsible for injury prevention, orthopedic screening, and development of year-round conditioning programs; provide medical coverage for home contests and practices, coordinate emergency procedures, evaluate and rehabilitate athletic injuries, manage injury data and medical reports, organize pre-season physicals, and educate athletes, coaches, and staff on sports-medicine best practices. Collaborates with team physician/licensed physician and athletic director to ensure readiness of athletes for competition; maintains documentation and supports athletic rehabilitation and return-to-play evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Massachusetts Licensed Athletic Trainer
- NATA Certified Athletic Trainer
