Job Summary
Organize and manage student behavior to ensure full engagement and uphold a school-wide culture of high expectations. Support college preparation for all students by ensuring athletes comply with Aspire and BASCALS eligibility requirements regarding scholastic discipline and attendance. Collaborate with administration to enforce school policies and provide regular updates to students and families on athletics activities and progress. Manage equipment and funds with fiduciary responsibility while demonstrating knowledge of Aspire's mission, values, and ethical standards. Requires 2+ years of high school athletics coaching experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Compensation is $21.42 an hour.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience coaching high school teams
- Knowledge of the sport of coaching and league interaction
- Ability and willingness to reflect and improve
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents and community
- Demonstrated success with prior coaching
- High School Diploma
- Relevant experience in coaching Interscholastic Athletic Teams
- 2+ years working with students as a high school athletics coach
- Valid driver license
