Job Summary
Athletic Training Fellow to assist FC Cincinnati sports medicine staff with daily athletic training duties, attendance at practices and home competitions, equipment and facility maintenance, daily treatment documentation, and participation in team testing such as functional movement screens, musculoskeletal assessments, return-to-play testing, and baseline concussion evaluations. Will act as a Stretcher Crew member during home competitions and collaborate with Sports Medicine/Performance staff on patient care and transportation to appointments. Responsible for covering FCC youth camps/events as a certified athletic trainer and adhering to all medical policies. Requires NATABOC, CAATE-recognized degree, Ohio licensure, and AED/CPR certification; ability to lift 50 lbs; strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- NATABOC Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in athletic training from CAATE recognized school
- Active Ohio Athletic Trainer Licensure or ability to obtain quickly
- American Heart Association AED/CPR Certification for the healthcare provider
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Previous soccer experience preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
